This type of alga grows slow and is nice dark of colour compared to most alga species. The featherweed has few demends to the water and because of that can grow fast. It is often used in Seahorse biotopes.

We have one small string of this alga growing now, hopefully we will see more, because they look nice

More strings spotted now, but this one by far the biggest still

Still growing like crazy

Added 4 new corals, one of them very close to the string. Hope that it will not be overrun

Still growing bigger, probably going to remove some soon, it is growing in all directions now.

Wanted to remove a bit, since it was really starting to overgrow. Unfortunatly it seemed to be only one string, so with one pull the whole algea was removed. It's a bit empty without it, and it doesn't show anywhere else in the aquarium, so for now the topic is closed.
