Got this from my parents as a birthday gift, when we saw it in the shop I just needed to have it . Another great and beautiful addition to the aquarium!

The road to rebuilding Pt 1
Then finally an invert that is still visible, the tube worm. He does hide a lot during the day time, but at night he is always visible.

The road to rebuilding Pt2
Then the big scare I had yesterday, the tube worm. Came home finding his crowns separated from the tube, just lying there. Fully stressed out I started internet and googled anything about the tube worm, seems it can separate his crown and replace it with a new one within a few weeks. I hope it’s that, and not that something attacked it or something.

The road to rebuilding Pt 3
The Tube Worm has better news, looks like a small crown is slowly showing up from its tube. So it’s not dead. Hope he likes it better when we have moved him in a new setting.

Rebuilding Day 1
Put it in a bucket for the rebuilding. Hope it doesn't have problems with this. Kept it underneath the water at all time

Rebuilding Day 4, the aftermath
Already seen the head come out a little, so he managed pretty well under hard conditions. Hope he enjoys his new location and doesn't cut off his crown again.

The days after, Part 1
The Tube Worm seems to be doing fine, I hoped this, but didn’t count on it seeing how the Toadstool reacted to everything. Didn’t think the Tube Worm would be stronger then an easy to manage leather coral.

Added new Urchin, Hermit Crab and Mushrooms
The tubeworm still shows itself now and then. But most of the daytime it is hidden in its shell.

Back from vacation
6 months ago I got a Tube Worm for my birthday, and it has gone through a lot already. First he dropped his crown, putting us in worries that it might have died. Luckily someone suggested to just leave it and wait and see what happens. And indeed, after some time the Tube worm showed itself again with a brand new crown. Then came the rebuild, everything needed to be removed from the aquarium and stored somewhere. I was afraid this might be too much for the tube worm, since it just spawned a new crown and might be weak. But without much problems it survived. And now, 6 months later it is still there and enjoying his new spot close to the window. He doesn’t show all the time, so I didn’t get a recent picture, but not much has changed since the last time.

Dropped his crown
It is just one, but he dropped his crown. The second crown is still there. First noticed it yesterday.
