Shell thick with many rough spiral cords. Shell opening is silvery and half the length of the shell. Chalky operculum is hemi-spherical and purplish brown. Sometimes, the operculum of a dead snail is washed ashore.

Sunday we found the snail I noticed earlier. Still unsure what kind of snail it is, have asked now on the forums, so more on this later.

From the forums I got the tip that it might be a Turbo snail. When googling on that I found that almost all the Turbo snails have their Spiral cord on top. But then another person told me it could be the Turbo Brunneus and this one actually has it's spiral cord on the side. Also the colour form in all the pictures I found looks a lot like the colour form of this snail.

Noticed him eating from the Algae leaves I put in for the Blue Tang :p
