A new inhabitant
On the 2nd of March I got a phone call from the aquarium shop that our ordered Loricula had arrived. So in the evening I went over to pick up the fish and put it in our aquarium. Immediately it hide himself between the rocks, and even yesterday it was hardly visible but it did show up a couple of times, enough to make a picture of him
The blue seastar is also still enjoying himself in the aquarium, after the cleaning it moved itself behind/underneath the rock with buttons, unfortunately the rock isn’t very solid, so to make sure the rock wouldn’t drop I had to remove the Starfish from underneath the rock. It seemed he had one of his legs stuck on the neighbouring rock, and when I pulled his leg it looked damaged…sh**. But after putting him down on the sand he started moving again and acted as if nothing happened, so let’s hope it stays that way.
Like I said, I had to pick up the rock with buttons because of the starfish, and like you might guess, couldn’t get it back the way it was. So it has moved a bit now, but looks to be more solid in his current location.
So this is how the aquarium looks now in full view. I’m still looking for some nice new corals with loads of colours to put in the aquarium, so I hope to have some soon.
And as always, some highlights of the photo session yesterday, other pictures can be found under the designated sections.
